You Got Sober.
Now Let’s Build the Life
You Got Sober For.

You worked your ass off to get sober. But now what? Nobody really tells you what to do once the drugs and alcohol are gone and you’re trying to figure out who you are without all of that.

Maybe you’re doing everything you’re supposed to be doing. You’re working, taking care of your family, and handling your responsibilities. But deep down, you still feel like something is missing.

Hey, I’m Melissa. I help women in recovery figure out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to actually start making it happen.

A little intention. A fresh start. A morning that’s yours.

Nobody Told You Getting Sober Wasn't Going to Fix Everything

I don’t know about you, but when I first got sober, I thought life was supposed to get easier. And in a lot of ways, it did. But there were still things I had no idea how to handle.

For so long, everything revolved around addiction. Now you’re sober, and you’re supposed to just know how to live this completely different life?

Maybe some of this sounds familiar.

Z
You’re sober, but you still don’t know who you are.
Z
You spend so much time taking care of everybody else that you don’t even know what you want anymore.
Z
You want to do something different with your life, but you have no idea where to start.
Z
You feel guilty for not being happier because you know how far you’ve come.
Z
You’re tired of just going through the motions every day.

You don’t have to have your whole life figured out.
And there’s nothing wrong with wanting more.

You spent a long time living one way. Of course, learning how to live differently is going to take some time.

So, What Do You Do After You Get Sober?

That’s a question I spent a lot of time trying to answer for myself. Getting sober was one thing. Figuring out what I wanted my life to look like afterward was something completely different.
That’s why I focus on three things when I work with women in recovery.
01 / IDENTITY

Who Are You Now?

Reconnect with the woman underneath it all.
When addiction has been part of your life for years, it can be hard to separate who you are from who you were when you were using.

What do you like doing? What makes you happy? What matters to you? What kind of woman do you want to be?

These might sound like simple questions, but sometimes they’re the hardest ones to answer.

02 / DIRECTION

What Do You Want?

Give yourself permission to dream again.
Maybe you’ve spent so much time just trying to get through each day that you haven’t thought about what you actually want.

Do you want to go back to school? Start a business? Build better relationships? Find hobbies? Or maybe you just want to wake up in the morning and feel good about the life you’re living.

Whatever it is, you have to give yourself permission to want something for yourself.

03 / ACTION

Let's Actually Do It.

Small steps. Real change. Your own pace.
I’m all for talking about our goals and making plans, but at some point, we’ve got to start doing something.

And I’m not talking about changing your entire life by next Tuesday.

I’m talking about figuring out what you want and taking small steps to get there. Even when you’re scared. Even when you don’t feel ready. Even when life gets busy.

I'm Melissa. And I Get It.

Getting sober was one thing. Figuring out who I was and what I wanted my life to look like afterward? That was a whole different journey.

I know what it’s like to be doing all the “right” things and still feel like something is missing.

That’s why I help women in recovery rediscover themselves, find direction, and start building a life that feels like their own.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start.

We’re figuring this out, together.
